Coppermine Has Stopped Uploading Files.

My coppermine installation has been working OK until today.

Everytime I try to upload a file here is the error that I get:

The previous file could not be placed.
You have successfully placed all the files.

I have looked around your forum and tried several things but cannot find a solution for the error message above:

I have consulted with my web host and I believe I have specified the Image Magick settings correctly. It's also not running in safe mode.

All required directories are CHMODED to 777

I switched to GD 2.x in the config panel.

Now I am able to upload some files but I do get errors with some - Error Message: "This is not a valid GD Extension"

These are normal jpeg files....what could be causing the error messages?

Im having same problem, I was uploading pics tthen all of a sudden I got

The place where you see the pic/where you place picture in album has no pic and its a lil box witha red like x in middle. This happened to me 2 times now. I had to re install and start over. Is there a solution to this? I dont want to reinstall after I placed all those pics.

Please create and post a test account that supporters can use to troubleshoot. Do not provide an admin account because it is unneccessary, and this is a public board where you should not post sensitive info.

please enable debug_mode for everyone in coppermine config (with notices_display turned off) and "method for uploads" set to "Single file uploads only" for all relevant groups in the groups panel. Post a reply if you have done so.

There is no error message.  Initial confirmation that the upload was successful (1 uploads were successful).  Next screen, no thumb image of the temp file (404 error when attempting to view).

set upload method to "Single file uploads" on the groups page for all relevant groups to get a more detailed error message.

He did.  I visited the site, attempted a single file upload, and what I posted is all that happens.  No error messages at all.

when I log in on his page with the test user account provided above, all I can see is the multiple files upload interface created by hyperion, with the number of files set to "1". This is not the same as "Single file uploads only". When using "Single file uploads only", you don't get the message "1 uploads were successful" at all. I think you overlooked something there! "Single file uploads" is a one-step technique, "Mutliple file uploads" with only one Upload field uses a two-step technique.
