Hello,

Need to clarify a few things before I start bridging.  This is the first time I have used Coppermine and the app is great.  Now on with the Questions:  Yes I have read the Docs   ;)

Questions

1.  I have cpg1.4.1 loaded and up and running.  Can I bridge this version with PHPbb?
2. The docs say I need to set both my bb and coppermine as standalone config first but bridging instructions say to use same database.  I have installed Coppermine but not my bb up. Do I install my bb and use the coppermine database?
3. Did I need to setup my BB first to be able to use bridging?

I know these are very simple question and I'm sorry for taking up the communities time.  Thank you for all your help.

Nibbler

1.4.1 is in beta and is not supported, sorry. Install 1.3.3 if you require support.

Thank you nibbler.  I am following you request.  Could you answer the remaining questions as if I have the proper install?  Thank you for your help.

Use the same database for Coppermine and your bbs.  If you put Coppermine in one database and your bbs in a different one, you can't bridge them together.  Both apps need to be running correctly on their own before attempting to bridge them together.
