Setting up test site

Hello,

I am currently using CPG 1.3.3 but would like to play around with 1.4.1.  I have decided to set up a test site for this, and I have a DB question.  I have created a second database  for this test site called 'CPGtest'  and it is a duplicate of the original db.  My question is how can I configure the test site to use this other db, as it is still using the original?  Is there a file I can edit and make the changes?
