Has anyone else done this?  If not, I'll smarten it up a little.  I constantly find myself needing such a thing when trying to choose a theme....

yes, this has been done already, there must be a posting like that. It's scheduled to be integrated into the demo as well. Split your reply from the forum move announcement thread, as it's unrelated.

Yes, it was done by someone else but that site attempted to install bad stuff so we can't recommend people visit it.

that's why this will go into our demo: this way, we can retain control over it. We will not recommended a third party site for something like this. This means: we appreciate you're trying to be helpful, but we won't recommend users to visit your site to make up their minds on coppermine themes.
