Cant Upload Multimedia File

I installed coppermine on a linux  debian woody  server
I try to upload multimedia file but its always fail
why ??

in config the file type for image , movie . music and text is all setting up on ALL
upload size is setting up to 1024000000 . but gd2 and image magick return me 0 upload successfull or it s retturn me the page of upload with nothing selected

I can upload pdf zip png jpeg ... but no mp3 mpeg movie 

I m but disapointted of this probleme , i hoped i can use coppermine for create a home based database 
an other question is that i can t upload xcf file .... it s Gimp source file (but imagemagick can manage this type )

finally just a suggestion for file format  :
I think it s will more easy if coppermine have a module directory
this directory is used just for stored file format .
when a new file format coming just write php script and put in module directory
It will make life easier for the futur evolution and integration of file no matter of the format .
what do you think ?

browse your database (using phpMyAdmin or similar), go to coppermine's filetypes table and add the formats you need there.
