can't change theme!!!

I have the theme list in the admin panel but when I choose one, it doesn't change anything, even when I quit the admin panel or if i use the theme=....... in the address bar...

There is small changes when I change theme: the tool bar goes to the middle of the page..

What can I do?

Remove the template.html file from your root coppermine directory, it shouldn't be there.
