Ive got tons of users & images on my old school 1.2, what would be the best advice for upgrading and getting all the data over to the 1.4 DB structure?

1.4 is unsupported. There are instructions on how to update to 1.3 in the 1.3 package.

i just made the table designs the same in my 1.2, and imported the data.

Nothing was lost, only new columns... worked quite nicely.
