I have a simple news script set up in anycontent.php and it is working fine. I cannot figure out how to position it in the template, though. I added it in the config, but it's just right at the bottom. I've set up my template page with a table that has two columns. I have the gallery in the right column and I would like to have the news beside it in the other column.

What I'm looking for is the {ANYCONTENT} variable that goes in the template.html file. I have searched over the board on some different terms but I did not come up with anything with regards to it.

I have my anycontent at the top of the page, under the admin menu, but before the gallery.  If this is what you want, simply change the order in config.

In the 'content of main page' just move anycontent to the front or 2nd position, like this

'breadcrumb/anycontent/catlist/alblist/lastup,2'

You probably have it at the end, like this

'breadcrumb/catlist/alblist/lastup,2/anycontent', which puts it at the bottom.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

I've got vertical positioning handled. I need to move it left.

No worries.

I've decided for now just to update my left column manually since I can't figure out another way.

Being able to position blocks with some sort of placeholder like the ones already in the template file seems like a logical feature to add. Perhaps in a later release. :-)
