Session / Password Issues

I have been getting feedback from users on my site stating they are having issues with their passwords/sessions.

here is what one had to say:

For the past week, every time I go to login I have a different password, and I'm not the one changing it.  And, when I am on the site for longer than 5 minutes, it automatically logs me out and I have to request an email to get the "new" password.  Is this the regular procedure? 

Why would thier passwords be getting reset? Even during a session?
