Everytime on a new install i get the same error:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /cpg131/config.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I tried version 1.3.1. up to the new beta version 1.3.4. All permissions are set like the should be. After some researche I read on this forum to try and change the name of the config.php and try again. This solves the problem but how do i change it to the config tab in the admin section?

cpg1.3.4 is not beta software, you're mixing things up.

Ask your webhost, they seem to disallow you the use of a file named "config.php", which is a silly thing in the first place. If they refuse to help, search the board for a workaround, as this has been asked and answered before.

I have asked my provider why the config.php is not working on their server. They say that there's no restriction for use of a file called config.php. They blame it on a scripterror!

Can anyone tell me how i could change the config tab to point to the new config file?

Sorry, this is not related to the script - it's a problem with your host.  I recently posted in a related thread - renaming config.php to something else.  You have to go thru every single file and change config.php to something else.  If you search you will come across the thread.
Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.
