Hi,

I am newbie, trying to install coppermine gallery. I use webhhosting, where it running (for others, not for me). I copied unzipped files into server and after running install.php I received this error message:

Parse error: parse error, expecting `','' or `';'' in /3w/wz.cz/b/boorko/install.php on line 25

I did not find any solution here (I tried). Can somebody help me? Thanks in advance.

Boorko,

Try downloading a fresh copy of Coppermine 1.35 and reinstalling it.

Learn and live ... In January of 2011, after a botched stent attempt, the doctors told me I needed a multiple bypass surgery or I could die.  I told them I needed new doctors.

Thanks Dennis,
I tried both 1.3.5 as well as 1.3.2
I rewrited it and there is still the same result - http://www.boorko.wz.cz/install.php

Verify you uploaded files with the auto setting and not the binary setting.  If that doesn't fix it, get another FTP client and try again.  The files are getting corrupted during the upload process.

i used filezilla instead of ftp from windows commander. I checked that transfer is not binnary.... and the result is still the same  >:(
i do not understand it, it is possible to see coppemine galleries on this server, so it will not be in hosting..... but where?

Download a fresh copy from a different mirror, following the Downloads link at the top of this page.  Extract the files, do not edit any of them.  Upload all of the files and directories and try again.  That's all that I can tell you.  There isn't a problem with the files on our site, so the corruption is happening either on your end or at your host.

thanks to all.... finally it was a stupid reason - advertisment which is automaticaly inserted into a code from side of webhosting provider

Tranz

How was it resolved? Did the webhost fix or remove the ad code?
