"For those of your interested in interior design ideas, you might want to take a look at the site of Sean McConnell. He uses Trompe L'oeil to create atmospheric spaces that are really striking. This post is put here on behalf of Sean and I hope you enjoy the work".

Mr McConnell is not using Coppermine as a photo gallery. This thread is meant for people who run a gallery powered by coppermine. It is not meant to be a place where you can drop links to all kinds of galleries. The reason for the existence of this thread is that people who haven't made up their mind yet if coppermine is the right product for them get the opportunity to see coppermine "in action" on other user's pages. Therefor, your posting is invalid. I didn't delete it, as it's not just a board spammer's advert, but points to a real site of art. But anyway: both to Fahrenheit1 as well as everybody else I wanted to point out what this thread is meant to be used for. Don't abuse it for unrelated stuff, even if you have a beautiful gallery that is being run with another product.

Well I would just like to add my thanks to those who develop coppermine, the prosilver theme and the bridging for phpbb3.
My phpbb3 forum and coppermine gallery has come together really well over the last few days (IMHO). It's given me everything I wanted/needed, and my users are about to start playing with their new coppermine gallery toy tonight.
Changing/editing the themes graphics etc was easy, and apart from a few newbie errors, the bridging and permissions came together well.
My gallery can be found via http://photohospital.co.uk/forums

Like Chris above me, I want to add my kudos to the development team.  I'm using Coppermine for three different personal sites and am overall pleased with it.  Like anything though, I do have a couple of small issues with the program, but they aren't major.

I'm currently using Coppermine to catalog my coin and banknote collection:

League Of Nations

...to catalog coin varieties and errors from the above site:

Variety Fair

...and to organize my Cockatiel collection ;D:

Flock Of Ages

Thanks again,

LordCo

If you are interested in digital fine art then I have a Coppermine site which I just started and added 56 paintings so far.
I hope you see something there that you like.

Thanks. How do I upgrade my Coppermine and why do I have to upgrade it because it looks and works perfectly?

Here is one of my galleries.

http://www.windsurf.me.uk/cpg133/index.php

As you can see, I am a bit obsessed with windsurfing. :-[

There are quite a few mods in there and full integration with Joomla thanks to Mehndi's bridge.

Thankfully, the comment capcha plugin that drastically reduces the comment spam to my sites is due to be included in the core of the forthcoming CPG1.5.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

There's another saying: Upgrade or get hacked. Your choice.

Upgrading is not that hard, just follow the instruction and you will be fine.

I'm using coppermine and a handfull of plug-ins to run www.demotivationalpics.com .  It has thousands of demotivational posters, and gets around a million hits per month.   I'm very happy with the flexibility of coppermine.  I've just installed CPG Forum and we'll see how that goes I guess, I get the feeling my visitors are there to look at funny pictures and not to chat, but we'll see ! :)
