I would like to have more fields in the user registration page, like "first name", "last name", "address", etc.  I could use the 4 fields in the "optional information" section, but I would like to have them in the "required information" section.

I know I have to modify some of the php and also add fields to the sql DB, but if someone has done this already I would really appreciate the help as I am not very good at php/sql.

Thanks all

Casper

It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Thank you very much, exactly what I need.

I have 2 questions...

1. How can I change the text of the Terms and Conditions?

2. How can I go about adding or changing the fields in the Registration Page, I have found a thread that would explain it but the solution doesn't work (http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=8392.0) it says that the thread doesn't exist.

Thanks in advance for the help,
Dan

open lang/english.php

Search for text from the current T&C in the file. Edit.

Casper

Try that thread again, it certainly is there, and working.

Edit, I just noticed it had it's id changed somehow.  I'll check and get back.

I tried Caspar's solution and could access the first one about changing fields in the registration but not the other two. When you click on those, this logs you out of the system automatically then tells you you are not allowed access to these areas. Caspar I wondered if you had a solution.

Thanks very much
