How can extra smilies be added

Hi, I want to add some extra smilies to my gallery, to make a second line of them.  

1. How do I code the smilies_inc.php. I see some have more than one line, is this for the animated gif's.

2. Does this require changes to any other files.

3. Do the smilies have to have a name starting 'icon_'.

Any help on this would be much appreciated.  I have searched the board on this, so if I missed it, sorry.

ok, I found the answer to '1', but still need to find out where to change to put them on a different line, and 2 and 3.

Hi again,

I am able to put which ever smilies I want in the line, but after 4 days of trying different changes to the smilies.inc.php, and also to the theme template, I just cannot get to put more than one line of smilies on the page without causing errors which I can't fix.
My only option at the moment has been to alter the cell properties for each smiley, and squeeze some extra ones on the line, but this does not look good, and there are not as many as I want.

Anyone able to help me put extra smilies on the page (both comment entry and e-cards)
