Hello,

Check the settings in your include/config.inc.php

P.S. You can post in the french board: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?board=38.0
Avez vous lu la DOC ? la FAQ ? et cherché sur le forum avant de poster ?
Did you read the DOC ? the FAQ ? and search the board before posting ?

we don't do support by email, the whole point of having a support board is that answer are visible for others as well. You didn't choose wisely - there are many threads that discuss what you need to do already, scottking probably did the same thing and was able to come up with a solution for himself. However, it would have been nice of him if he would have posted what he did or at least a link to the thread where he found the answer.

Anyway: you need to edit include/config.inc.php - that's where the database information get's stored.

[edit]
Merging the identical threads you posted in and the one you started. Looks like you caused 3 supporters to look into the very same thing. Cross-posting or double-posting won't win you friends  >:( - you're causing extra work.

I have this same error.  Following this thread and another similar one in French I still can't figure out the proper fix.  What are the appropriate default settings for include/config.inc.php?

Thank you,
Nails

If you don't know the mysql settings, you will need to ask your host for help.
