Hello there , I'm a newbie in the use of Coppermine Gallery and foreign (spanish speaker, so I beg you to excuse me about my poor english).
I've set up the gallery only for viewing and public comments. But I'd like to put some albums that request password access for the users that want to look into them. They should be able to see the thumbnail folder but never see random pics from those albums they don't have access.

Is there a chance to do that?.

Thanks.

Abbas Ali

This is a feature in cpg1.4 which is in beta stage.

Ok, now I've tried the beta version. But when you add a password to the album this act automatically as "viewed by: me only" only. And What I want is that everybody can see the thumbnail album and when you click on it, this ask you for the password.
If this is not possible, please you you should REALLY consider it for the final version.

And there would be a chance to create folder within folders?. That would be a nice feature, usefull when some of the pics belong to a same category but with different topics.

Thanks for read.

cpg 1.4 goes unsupported as of now but a quick look into the docs migh help you.

FYI - The password protected albums feature is exactly what you want.
