New Installation problem

I installed coppermine gallery yesterday (by fantastico) and I provided an admin name and password.
I got to the gallery of my site and:
1. can't login (with my admin name & password) - it says my password is incorrect
2. The "forgot password" doesn't recognize my email (which was defined during installation)
3. I read the forum that's there's admin zone - don't know how to get there.

Help please?

There's a known issue with the coppermine packages that come with fantastico. The fantastico version differs from what we have created. There appear to be some versions where you have to enter your email address into the username field - see http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=19382.0
This is why we don't recommend using fantastico, but the genuine coppermine packages available only from our site - download link at top of this page.

I installed with fantastico before, and now I broke my head trying to remember what went wrong this time...
Anyway - I'll install it from here and hope things will be ok.
