Is it possible to add more moderators or admins to my coppermine gallery so that admin1 can approve / delete files from album1 and admin2 can approve / delete files from album2.  It just that we have part of our gallery that is so popular i want someone else to look after it, but i don't want to make them an administrator of the whole gallery in case they feel like deleting photos from other albums.

From the 1.3.3 settings screen this doesn't appear to be posibile.  I'd be very greatful if someone could let me know if it is and how it can be done.  I don't mind using a 3rd party mod if necessary.

This is not possible from the coppermine settings and afaik there is no mod available too. What you are looking for is known as moderator group which can perform certain actions of admin but not all.

Abbas is right: moderator capabilities have frequently been requested and discussed, but nobody has actually come up with the needed code, as this would mean overall changes in nearly all coppermine files.

Thanks for your help, but unfortunately I am desperate for this functionality.

The only other solution I can think of is to have multiple Coppermine galleries, but i'd rather not, otherwise my visitors would have to register twice (once for each gallery).

I think Coppermine is fantastic but it looks like i'm going to have to try something else to get the moderator features i need :(

Can anyone recommmend a photo gallery software that does allow moderators to be assigned to different albums?

Thanks again for all your help.
