Error while processing a database query

Running Gallery Version 1.3.3, 10971 files and 308980 views.
Attached, screenshot of error, running a MySQL repair cured it, but have you any idea of the reason please?

Quite often it's a server-side issue.  If you have too many members on your site doing a lot of different things, spambots and offline browsers downloading tons of files, your server will time out before your script can be implemented.

if mysql's repair command fixed your issues, then your db file probably was broken.
