My website is elderstreetartist.com. I'm using Windows XP. My username is susangoettschepaintings  Passwork is 497604

I was able to upload pictures using 1.35. When I switched to the new version all I get is the message : The Wizzard was unable to connect to the internet or the Web Service returned a wizzard page that is not valid.

it appears that you haven't performed the upgrade successfully - when I go to http://elderstreetartist.com/gallery/index.php, I get
QuoteFatal error: Call to undefined function: get_meta_album_set() in /home/elderstreetartist/gallery/index.php on line 748
. I guess you haven't uploaded all needed files, or you haven't upgraded your custom theme as suggested.

I hope that the username and password you posted is not your admin account. If it is, change it immediately!

I had to reload 1.3.5 to get the Webpublishing Wizzard to work again. I reload 1.4.3 (the new version) three times and it did not work any of those times. I will wait until some of the problems are worked out before reloading the current version.

True, but I notice that two other people have listed the same problem in another part of the 1.4 install part of the forum. They may be a bug in the Web Publishing Wizzard part of the new program.

well, this could mean that there is a bug. It could mean as well that there are others who make the same mistake. Hard to find out by looking just at your postings. Links and test user accounts would help.

Hi GauGau,

i have the same Problem... But i don't knwo since when!?!  :-\
My Page is www.photogallery.borismayer.de - could you check the default there? I also reloaded 1.4.3 now three times - with no result.

But i noticed an error - while running the versioncheck.php many files where'n found. But these files are on the webserver - on the right place!!! The permissions are also set right...

If i could help, I will send you a test user account via PM

greets

Boris

you're meant to post a non-admin test user account, I don't want it sent by PM. There's even no use sending me the account data, as I don't have WindowsXP and therefor can't look into this even if I wanted to.

Same problem here. I had an upgraded album and thought that was the problem. So I've just installed a totaly fresh album and the problem still resides!

My webserver is a Windows SBS 2003 R2 (x64) server with IIS.
PHP Version 5.2.5 (x64)
MySQL 5.0.51b

If you first create an album and choose that album using XP Publish to upload to then it works. So the problem seems to be somewhere in the creation of a new album by XP Publish.

Regards,
Rob
