Hi
I just installed the 1.4.2. Its a new install but does not work. It was installed using the fantastico panelLooks okay but when I upload photos is seems okay until the final screen.

This is the url

http://www.l2td.com/photogallery/upload.php

I get two messages

1) The previous file could not be placed.

2) You have successfully placed all the files.

I've tried making new albums and categories but this does not seem to help.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
keith

I thought i had followed instructions that were suggested in the link. I apologize if I've offended anyone here. I'm not much of a computer guy and this is very confusing

Is this what I was missing?

I removed your username and password, and sent you a PM with your new password.  Never post an admin account.  I created a test user:

user: test
pass: test

After configuring registered users to upload without admin approval, creating a test album with uploads allowed, this is the result:

Quote from: Your WebsiteThe file 'albums/userpics/10002/Sunset.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127

Cmd line :
/usr/bin/convert -quality 80 -antialias -geometry 100x75 'albums/userpics/10002/Sunset.jpg' 'albums/userpics/10002/thumb_Sunset.jpg'

The convert program said:
/usr/bin/convert: not found

You don't have ImageMagick installed or it isn't in /usr/bin/.  I changed the method for resizing images to GD2.  Everything works now.

I changed the registered group back to allowing uploads but requring admin approval.  You can delete the test user and also the test album I created.

You can hook up my brother-in-law instead.  I don't visit SD very often, but since he lives there...  ;)
