host moved me - cant upload anymore

I'm sorry if this is a similar post to a previous one, I didn search but couldn't find any solutions.

I recieved a notice from my hosting company that my site has been 'upgraded' again - except this time some migration has taken place.

My album is still mostly functional except I cannot upload any new pictures.
It doesn't give me any errors when i try a file upload - it only says 0 Files uploaded correctly.

Out of curiosity I tried a URL upload and i did get a permissions error:
Warning: touch(): Unable to create file ./albums//edit/mURI_temp_1398725a.jpg because Permission denied in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/22765/webspace/httpdocs/upload.php on line 1788

Anybody have any soloutions or hints - I have access to my php & sql info - I just don't know where to begin.

You should seriously look into finding a better host.  PHP 4.3.2 is very old.  I don't know what kind of "upgrades" your host is giving you, but it doesn't look like much.

Check your directory permissions.  The /albums directory, and all subdirectories and files contained within should be set to 777 (or 755, depending on server setup.)
