Remove user option to sort a gallery

I've seen other posts about this issue, one which claimed to have a solution but didn't list it, but none of them were in regards to 1.4.
I'm trying to remove the sort options at the top right (on classic theme) when viewing thumbnails.php

I see no option in the config, so I've been scouring the code and just can't see where this is being called/displayed. Thanks
