Description next to the picture

Can´t figure this out... please help me!

My gallery is shown in a frame.
How can I get the description next to the picture instead of below it, to avoid scrollbars?

Can´t find the solution anywere...

edit themes/yourtheme/theme.php, find

// Displays a picture

and edit the section below it. If the section doesn't exist in your theme, copy it from sample.php

I've managed to fit everything nicely into my html page now.
Had to modify and upload the theme.php many times but this helped me to understand a little how
it works (as a newbie). The only thing I can't find out is how to remove the table with "file 36/40" in the
viewing of intermediate pictures. Strange because I could remove the slideshow button etc.

(sorry... do I have to ask this as a seperate question?)
