I have lost the photo gallery for my coppermine photo gallery.   I need someone from Coppermine to contact me via email at michiris@charter.net asap so that I can get these photos from a US ARMY SERVICE MAN WHO WAS SERVING IN IRAQ back on his website.

originally, the website was hosted by godaddy.com and we bought a domain name and hosting.  now godaddy.com says they no longer offer coppermine so I've lost about 250 photos from this individual.

Can someone please let me know how to find the link for the photo gallery?

Thanks

we don't do support by email. However, you'll need to backup your files and your database on the old server and restore it on the new one. Check the FAQ and search the board for "move server" or similar, as this has been asked many times over.

Could you clarify what you meant by godaddy not supporting Coppermine? Do you mean that it doesn't provide an autoinstaller, or does it not allow Coppermine to run at all?

When you use the GoDaddy "value applications", you can't access the databases to back them up.  you can use ftp to get the file back themselves.

use a tool like phpMyAdmin or mySqlDumper then - don't rely on the tools your webhost provides if you want to understand what is actually going on.
