Crit error when uploading

Ok, I've updated to 1.43 and everything seemed to workout great. (I updated to php 5 so now everything worked like a charm again)
But now when I want to upload I get a critical error. Everything seems to go fine till the last step. After it I get the messeage: "Upload Failure - './albums/edit/' ". I checked whether is rights for the folder were correct and it's 777 so i guess that can't be the problem. Could some 1 help me out? Thanks in advance,
