I'm using the coppermine gallery for a family history site.  And some people don't have internet on their computer or it's really slow.  I would be so excited if there was a way to put the whole gallery on a cd/dvd.  Does anyone know of any way of doing someting simular?  Even if it was no longer dynamic of course.....

THIS WOULD BE A BIG HELP....

Also I'm not sure I posted this in the right section.

If an offline archiving program (like Httrack) works, then this is a support thread.

If you're asking for a feature in a future release, then this is a "Feature Request" thread and should go on that board.  This has been requested a few times, e.g.: http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=4775.0.  As an FYI, I'm doing some tests on this for a possible plugin.  I haven't posted about it yet since I'm in the feasiility phase right now.

Umm Httrack worked.  I got a spanking from my server support because it was putting such a load on the server but it worked pretty good!  Well thanks for the help and please move this thread to where ever is approperiate.

Thanks!

Sounds like your support question is solved.  The offline archiving request is on the to-do list, well in this case, it's a to-investigate request.
