OK... I've read the FAQs, I've read the docs...I read "General Upload Troubleshooting". I've re-read them. I've searched the board where after 25 messages in the string of folks asking the exact same question over and over still do not have the answer....

http://www.amirasbelly.com/gallery/searchnew.php  -    running 1.3.3

I FTPd my album to my server in /coppermine/albums/myalbumthing
I enabled permissions in the group settings.
I am in admin mode.
I looked high and low for the album properties page shown in the docs, and it was not till I read that the link to that section simply is not showing up for some folks that I am writing. I then found it. I set album properties as suggested.
I checked my folder permissions and set them all to 777.

I applied Kegobeer's hack as outlined in http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=18766.msg86472#msg86472

I still get no available directories when clicking "Batch add files".

Shure seems like it should be a very simple thing, but it seems a lot of folks smarter than me can't get it either. These are folks that also read the docs.

Can you please tell me what I do next to simply upload a batch of files?

Thanks

MD

1) Upgrade at least to cpg1.3.5
2) Do as suggested in http://coppermine-gallery.net/tutorial/uploads/troubleshooting.php
3) Post a deep link to one of the files you're trying to batch-add

He was sorted out with an upgrade to the lastest version and a walk through the process.

Thanks.
