When a user uploads a file/picture into an album, it doesn't show who uploaded the file.  Is there a setting to configure (can't find it) that will display who uploaded the pic?

expand the picinfo section when looking at the individual pic - the uploader name is the first entry in the line "Album name". To see the name on the thumbnail page, enable "Display uploader name below the thumbnail". Post a link for details if this doesn't work for you as expected.
