Delete album without deleting files

Hi everybody,

ist it somehow possible to delete albums and leave the original jpg-files untouched..?

Background:
I want to re-arrange the directory structure on my webserver (create ned subfolders in /albums). As a result of this, I cannot load the pictures in my albums and also deleting the albums is not possible anymore (because of broken links to the pictures).

Now I am searching for a workaround to either:
- repair the paths of my pictures
- delete my albums without deleting the original JPGs
- delete albums with broken links to the pix
or any other workaround...
