I'm installing cpg 1.4.4, and i'm trying to update the CHMOD properties on the albums and include folders. But when I go in with my FTP software (Smart FTP v 2.0) and change the properties to "777" I get this error message:

500 'SITE CHMOD 777 index.html': command not understood

Can anyone help me?  Thanks.

Do not send me a private message unless I ask for one.  Make your post public so everyone can benefit.

There are no stupid questions

Hmmm...so if my server won't let me set permissions, does that mean I can't install coppermine?

CHMOD does not apply to windows, I have no idea how to set perms in windows NT though.
