I am new to coppermine? How do I start installing the gallery thing on PHP? Is there a page with instructions?

link "documentation" at the top of this page would have lead you to the same page .
The docs are available in the coppermine package as well (inside the "docs" folder, surprisingly).
However, the most recent stable is cpg1.4.4, so you shouldn't have posted on the cpg1.3.x board. When doing a fresh install, you mustn't start with the outdated version cpg1.3.x, but the most recent stable version.
