index.php does not load

suddenly i get the following text om mij browser when i link to http://www.sybilla.be/xyz

when i put index.php afther the link then it works.

Whats wrong ?

Delete http://www.sybilla.be/xyz/index.html - it's not supposed to be there atall.

i dont know how "index.html" came there
