The theme "Kubrick" (that has originally been created by Michael Heilemann) used to be ported for cpg1.3.x by Peter Near (see "Kubrick for cpg1.3.x"). The new theme for cpg1.4.x has been re-made to solve the issues with the fixed table width that existed in the older version. The images that have been used in the old version are included in the new package as well. The Kubrick theme comes under the GNU GPL license. Please report potential bugs.

This theme is a nice example for a right-handed menu (if you need a right-handed menu for your site, take a look at themes/kubrick/theme.php, find the pageheader and pagefooter function definitions and compare them to the one in themes/sample/theme.php). However, please don't discuss right-handed menus in this thread, but only stuff directly related to the Kubrick theme. Enjoy.

Hi

Thanks for the upgraded 1.4 ver of this theme.  I have on small problem, easily fixed I'm sure but its driving me nuts!  In the 1.3 version it was easy to put up your own header graphic by naming it personalheader.  Is there any way to put up your own header on this version?  As I say I'm sure its simple but please help me before I pull the rest of my hair out.  :)

I don't think that this was the case, you must be confusing this. You should edit themes/kubrick/template.html with a plain text editor (notepad.exe is fine) and use plain HTML to add your custom header wherever you see fit (e.g. a banner image by inserting something like <img src="path/to/you/image.jpg" border="0" width="400" height="100" alt="" />). This advice applies to all themes, not only Kubrick. If you need to know details, please don't clutter this announcement thread with individual customization questions, but start a thread of your own on the "regular" support board (cpg1.4 themes/skins/templates).
