Hi,

sometimes the Bridge works sometimes not.

Sometimes you have to switch more than three Times between Forum and Coppermine to get Coppermine know that you have been logged in. And then sometimes you are logged in trying to upload some files and then it tolds you that you do not have rights for this action.

Then again switching between Coppermine and Forum and  after 2 or 3 Movements it works.

What can be the Problem ? Before you think about Cookietimeout - this happens even you are only logged in for 2 Minutes.

If it helps to develope this Bridge more perfectly i can help with a Dump and the Filestructure.

your site is completely down for me

Try it again please and refresh your Cache. Now it works - we had a Downtime the last 2 Hours.

Trying to go to http://www.politikstube.de/gallerie/ returns a 403:
QuoteForbidden
You don't have permission to access /gallerie/ on this server.

Apache PH/SH Ext./1.3.33 Server at www.politikstube.de Port 80
Don't make it so hard for supporters - I'm out of this thread.

??

What is hard to you ? That i run my Project Secure ? ;)

http://www.politikstube.de/gallerie/index.php Where is the Problem ?

Joachim Müller

That's security for you? How about adding Options -Indexesto your .htaccess file (or even your apache conf) instead ::)? Security by obscurity has never worked in the past, I doubt it will be the case for you. Scaring visitors away by displaying 403 error messages definitely is a way to avoid traffic.

It's hard for supporters that you haven't posted a link to your gallery in the first place if the only one available is the one without the index file. We're not mind-readers. I suggest reviewing your attitude if you actually want support.

If you have clicked on the Link i posted you in my last Posting you will see that i edited my .htaccess to redirect you to index.php.

I am new to Coppermine so i can not now before that Coppermine has overwritten my .htaccess. ;)

Joachim Müller

it hasn't. Again, you claim things that are just wrong. Coppermine doesn't overwrite .htaccess files.
Had enough of this. Back to the subject or prepare for a slap on the wrist.

It has because i use the SEO rewrite Feature of Coppermine. ;)

Can we go now Back to Topic ?
