    I get the message "click for details or to reload" to the right of each image name. In addition, the images are not displayed as shown in the documentation. (On IE I get "X" symbols indicating that the images cannot be found.) I purposely named the images "a.jpg", "b.jpg" and "c.jpg" to avoid problems with unusual characters in the names.

    My gallery is at http://www.luuphotosoc.com/galleries/coppermine and I have set up a test user with username and password both "test".

    Thanks in advance.

this normally happens when there is a timeout. try to change the settings in php.ini
i have a rather old server. here are my settings:

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
; Resource Limits ;
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

max_execution_time = 90     ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds
max_input_time = 120   ; Maximum amount of time each script may spend parsing request data
memory_limit = 30M      ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (8MB)

cartier

Thanks, but I haven't got direct access to php.ini. I know there is a way of (temporarily?) changing these settings via a script - do you know how to do this?
