hi

Joachim Müller

download the corrupted file (include/config.inc.php) and edit it with a plain text editor. The file is being created by the installer - a parse error indicates that it got corrupted during creation or that you have illegal chars in your mysql access data. To understand what the file should look like, take a look at include/config.inc.php.sample.
Don't post the contents here, it would reveal your mysql details that you must keep secret no matter what.

If this is all alien to you, delete include/config.inc.php and include/install.lock from your server and start the install script from scratch (choose another table prefix then, or delete the tables created by the initial install).

Your mysql data mustn't contain dots, apostrophes, backslashes or similar special chars.

@lotta: don't make threads useless by editing out your original question. It hurts other people looking for answers, and it is disrespectful to GauGau who took the time to reply.

to add to what Thu told you: doing what you did also results in temporary bans - yours will last for a week from now on >:(.

contacting me over the contact form of my personal page (although there is a note on it not to use the contact form for coppermine-related stuff) doesn't actually increase your karma. The email you sent over the contact form:

Hi!

I just read the thread in the coppermine gallery...
I saw that I have done something wrong I suppose???
In my answer from You (GauGau) I get this answer:
"Don't post the contents here, it would reveal your mysql details that you must keep secret no matter what"

Therefor I deleted my question!!

Sorry if I upset You or anyone else!

QuoteYou could have edited out your username and password with asterisks instead of rendering your whole posting and the replies to it useless. Don't contact me over my personal page, but post on the board!
