Batch Add Files Unable to Create Thumbnails?

I unloaded and then uploaded the new version instead of using fantastico and have 1.4.4 and I went to go upload through batch add files and whenever I do it it says unable to create thumbnails, but if I upload regularly it works perfectly fine without a problem. Any solution  :-\

chmod your batch folder 755 / or 777
