Last time I installed Coppermine, there was a mod I applied so the users who were not logged in could not access their favorites. The reason for this is to only allow registered and logged in users to download the .zip files.

This mod made a change to where the "My Favorites" link was only viewable by logged in users.

Does anyone know what mod I am talking about, or how I can do this?

Thank you...

I would like to remove the "My Favorites" link from the top nav bar. How would I go about removing this for users that are not logged in? I only want it to show when users are logged in. The reason is because I only want registered and logged in users to be able to download .zip files.

Thanks in advance!

merged duplicate threads. Don't!

I thought I posted in the wrong place because no one is replying to my question. Is anyone going to help me??

edit your theme, add an if/then switch. Look for the population of the $USER var.

Can you be more specific, please? I have no idea which line of coding to change, I have been changing coding all morning and can't find where to add the if/then switch.

I think I got it... I'm not going to say for sure, until I test it...
