I have set the width of the main table in "album list view" and "image view" to 800 pixels and they are inside that limit.  However, the overall width of all the pages is much larger, at least 1200 pixels.  A scroll bar appears at the bottom of all my pages.  The problem occurs in several themes: water drop, rainy day, fruity.  I want to set the overall width smaller.  How do I do this?

you display the filename below the thumbs... have a look at newest uploads section. The filenames are pretty long and therefore forcing the table to appeare extra wide. Either use shorter filenames or don't display them (config option)

for water drop you can change the width value at line 28 of template.html to 800 for other template you should can set this value to table tag right after {SUB_MENU}

Removing my long file names from below the thumbs solved the problem.  I have not tried manually setting the width by editing the html of the theme.

Many Thanks for the help.  :D
