Hey all,
When a registered user clicks on upload, the only album option there is their own personal album that they've created.
I've created/started many albums that I want users to post to.
I tried setting "(1) Uploads in a public album need admin approval" to {YES} but the album locations are still not showing up when they try to upload.
Is this script meant to upload to their own user galleries only?
Cheers.

take a look into the documentation: you'll have to edit the properties of the albums the user uploads should go to. Set "Visitors can upload pictures" to "yes" for all albums that are not within the "user gallery" category.

thank you very much!
I took "visitors" to mean unregistered visitors.
Cheers

No, it only allows uploads from groups who are allowed to in the group permissions.
It has been a long time now since I did my little bit here, and have done no coding or any other such stuff since. I'm back to being a noob here

Well, now I have another problem :(
When I changed album properties to let visitors post to albums......I also changed the setting to go from "everyone" to post ; to "registered" members only.
Now the link and thumbnails to all the public albums are missing....with an error pointing : Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in coppermine_dir/themes/hardwired/theme.php on line 1194
This error stays even if I change the theme.
(the default theme will not show this error but still does not show the album links therefore I cannot access properties)
I can still access these albums by clicking on one of the random pics and then clicking it's link in "picture information"
I can't get the album properties back so I can edit again.

Ok,
just go into config, and set 'show private icon to unlogged users' to YES.
You will now see the icon, but if you click on it, you can see the album and edit the pics. Note, unregistered will see the icon, but not the album or pics.

This is a known problem being corrected in the next release.
