Hours? Don't loose your cool... And your issue is so important that you need to draw attention to it by starting another useless thread? This is not a hotline! >:( Read Board rules and FAQ: "I've posted my question a while ago, but nobody answers. What the...?"

Thanks a lot MAY GOD BLESS YOU & HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!

All I can say is: Heh.

And: two virtues are patience and care.  The Coppermine developers used both to create the documentation.  We appreciate it when users practice them as well.  It makes selfless (and volunteer) support that much more pleasant.

Do you have an account (preferably non-admin) we can try on your site?  If you only have the original admin account, you can private-message it to me and I'll take a look (and you can change it afterwards of course).

Otherwise, try clearing your cookies and your cache and make sure cookies are enabled for all sites.  It might be that you allowed "domain.com" but the cookie is for "www.domain.com".  Enable for all sites, make sure it works, then cut back to individual site settings (if you don't want all-site cookie settings).

Paver

Ok, I received your private message with the admin account info.  Are you still receiving the cookie error?  When I try to log in, I get "Couldn't log in.  Try again." which usually means you have the wrong username or password.  If you are receiving this same error, are you sure about the username and password you sent me?

Paver

Ok, you sent me the correct username now.

When I first go to your login page, I see the "Warning your browser does not accept script's cookies" above the login box.  When I just refresh this login page (without logging in), the message goes away.  I'll have to check this as a possible minor issue (in the core Coppermine) because the cookie is being created fine - it only happens if the first time you go to the site, you go directly to the login page.  (I've replicated this on my testbed site, but haven't looked at it enough to see if it's "normal" or not.)

In any case, I can log in fine using the account you sent me.  I'm logged in, can do admin things (I actually banned myself with your old account info so used a different computer to log in and unban me).

So it must be your browser.  Clear the cache, the cookies, the history, restart the browser, then see what happens.  As I said before, make sure all cookies are allowed (all cookie restrictions should be turned off).  I tried using both FireFox 1.5.0.3 and IE 6.0 and could log in fine.

Joachim Müller

make sure to disable pseudo-security apps like "Norton Internet Security", which are crap imo and lure users into a false sense of security. It fits into the image that you PMed the wrong admin account data in the first place, making support work even harder. I admire Paver's patience.

I downloaded firefox and it worked automatically, strange enough I cant still log in using IE but I can with Firefox ??? and is there a way to stop viewers from "stealing" my photos when using CPG 145???
Thanks a lot for helping me
