World-Charmed

Hello,
i have a vB 3.5.4 and bridged it with CMP. I works fine, but nobody (Without the Administrator) can`t upload files. I set the rights correctly, but nobody can`t upload. Why?

Thank you for the help.

Greetings

World-Charmed

PS: I have the newest version of coppermine.

Ohh. Ok here it is:

Coppermine install: http://www.world-charmed.de/gallery/
Forum install: http://world-charmed.de/board/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.5
Forum version: vBulletin 3.4.5
Test user account: Name: test / Password: 12345

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://world-charmed.de/board/
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../board/includes/config.php
Use post-based groups?:  0

uploading works as expected (see http://www.world-charmed.de/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-1973), review coppermine's groups page if you want to allow user uploads into public albums. Read it up in the docs.

World-Charmed

How did you upload the picture?
Look the screen. There are my rights. Are there anything wrong?

When take the link "zugewiesene Alben" then i come to the member page in the Forum: http://www.world-charmed.de/board/memberlist.php

You better read the docs then: "zugewiesene Alben" (assigned albums) doesn't mean you can assign albums there (or it would have to be labelled "Alben zuweisen"/"Assign albums"). You set permissions on the groups page, you assign individual permissions by album using the "properties" dialog of the albums (the "properties" button next to the thumbnail representing the album).
I uploaded the pic by creating a personal album first, which I don't find surprising - when getting the error message "there's no album that you're allowed to upload to", my initial thought as a user would be "well, then let's create one", so I clicked on the "create/order my albums".
As suggested above: if you want your users to upload to public albums, allow them so in groups, then go to the album's properties and enable "visitors can upload" there.
This is well documented, please read the docs before posting questions.

Joachim

P.S. Your issues are not related at all to bridging, so your subject line doesn't apply nor does this thread belong to the bridging support board, that's why I moved it.

World-Charmed

Now it works. Thank you very much.

World-Charmed

Have you got a a MySQL Query to make it? I have many albums!

Thank you.

World-Charmed

So set the rights in every album.
