oh i donr know how to use ftp if i rename them and upload them again will they still go 001 002 then 10?

As long as that 10 is "010" and you leave the default sort order in your config to "Name ascending", then yes, they will sort as desired.

oh wow it seems to work when i add them as 001 002 003 and it doesnt go to 010 the only thing is when i add a nother album it goes /029%7E0.jpg bescasue there already was a 029 from the previous album.

You (as coppermine admin) should use FTP-upload plus batch-add
