cpg.1.4.6 problem

Initially had 1.4.3 installed woke up one morning and for some reason my images dont show up...

i tried a upgrade to 1.4.6 and that didnt help

i thought maybe the theme files corrupted themselves ( since for some reason my theme folder came up missing earlier in the week ) so i replaced it and nothing... my theme is there but no photo's...

HELP!!!

all the album pictures are physically there... the database doesnt seem corrupt.. i dont know *beep* is going on...

any ideas??

seems you messed a lil bit in config with

at least the normal prefix is set to normasl_ when it should be normal_

It's also pointing to thumbs_ instead of thumb_

*beep*... trying to figure out how my damn configuration got so WHACKED out... somethings not right.. there are only 3 accounts allowed to change settings and its alll jacked up... and 2 of the accounts belong to me one to the other administrator and he is out of town... something is weird..

some of the albums and pictures dont match...


will running the admin tools update cure all that???

Unlikely, what would be better is to leave your gallery online and fix the things that supporters point out to you.

when i get to the office in the morning im going to restore my configuration files and see what happens.. and then i will go from there... I dont knwo who or what got in there but they sure did a number...

couldnt find the old configuration so i went back to do it the best i could...

I am noticing some strangeness w/ the random files... Usually on my other forums it shows you random files for that category your in... Say im in User Galleries, A username, i would get random files out of that users gallery before i clicked on thier album... i dont get that.. i just end up w/ random images from anywhere??  any ideas

I also noticed that if you click on a image that isnt part of that users album that pops up in the random files it gives you a error but if you navigate the long way to its respective album its there??? so somethin is screwy..

Please stick to one issue per thread.  It's much easier to discuss things and solve issues when you only have one issue in a thread.  Start a new thread with each issue.

That being said, you should check this bug thread regarding your random issue before you start a new thread on it.  I'm guessing this bug is causing that issue.

thx for the fix... i figured since stuff went haywire that i would just keep adding into this thread instead of starting a dozen more about little issues...   Ill start a new thread for any other issues...

Starting new threads even for little issues is fine.  But make sure to search or browse the boards first.  A lot of the little issues have been mentioned before.
