No image to display when in private albums

I have problem when I create private albums.  I upload the pictures and select "Album can be viewed by Me Only" and then add a password.  If I go to the album while logged in I can view everything fine.  If I go to a different machine and a log in to the album, I can view thumbnails, but no full-size images on the displayimage page.  I get the message "No image to display."

I am running 1.4.3.

I have seen other issues similar in the forums, but have not run across a solution.

Well, I figured out that if I have any caps in the password the image will not show up. But if I have lowercase letters they will. Strange...

Upgrade to the most recent version (currently cpg1.4.6).

I ended up doing that also and still had the problem with capital letters in the password.
