I found the answer elsewhere

edit - in response to the answer to THIS post:
Sorry, I was just a bit to quick to post the question ... I found the answer just 5-6 posts below this one.

We don't delete threads.  Even if you found the answer elsewhere, threads are kept for historical reason so people can search in the future and find answers.

You shouldn't edit your posts - post a reply with the answer you found elsewhere, and others may find that useful in the future.

Threads are marked "Solved" and "Closed" as appropriate when a support issue has been solved, whether by a supporter or by you yourself.

Please keep this in mind in the future.

We don't delete threads that may be useful to others. If people delete or edit out threads after resolving their problems, it is a selfish act that makes forums useless.

We do delete threads that are useless or violate the board rules. Such threads clutter and devalue forums and have no place in them. With your low karma, I'm sure your thread was deleted for a valid reason.

Accusing someone of lying is uncalled for, and isn't going to help your karma.

@vargha: as far as I can see, none of your threads got deleted - all your postings remain visible for everyone.
