Email notification problems with B-one

My site is hosted by www.b-one.net where I'm also hosting a phpbb forum.
B-one doesn't use sendmail, but have a SMTP server where you enter your domain as username and leave the password blank.

This works like a charm for phpbb, but for some reason Coppermine won't.
I've enabled notification on user creation as well as upload approval. I get no email. Zip. Nothing.
I've checked my email in the general settings is correct, and I'm using another user to upload the test images with.

Any suggestions?

No, I've tried with and without preview. Says the e-card is send successfully, but never arrives. I've checked the spam filter of my ISP, nothing.
