Not sure if this is the appropriate place (so please move if necessary), as I'm "offering" support rather than asking for it!
This one's for the noobs (like me) (and YOU, Tarique!), who are using "from-the-box" themes like I-Games, ProjectVII, Eyeball...
You may have noticed that the menus at the top are completely screwy? Actually, you may NOT have noticed, but they are! This is due to the button titles in the "lang_main_menu" section of "lang/english.php". If you edit the button titles (change them, or simply remove the space between words), the menu will display properly. You can see this at demo using the "I-Games" theme.
Cheers,
John Mc.
I'm trying hard... at least!

the only things I noticed so far about the menus that come with coppermine and have some dhtml gimmicks in them (second level menu displaying when hovering over "@" or "Home") have the layer positioned as "absolute" (which is of course bullshit if you want to customize it).
Nevertheless, I don't understand what your posting is about: please post a screenshot of the "messy" standard themes and what browser/os you're using when it displays "screwy".

P.S. I wouldn't call Tarique a noob :? , since he's actually the php wiz around here...

 Sorry - I didn't mean Tarique is a Noob - I meant he uses the I-Games theme I referred to! I know he's a whiz... I've read lots of VERY good stuff he's posted on here and have learned a lot from him... absolutely no offence intended! Anyway... this is what I mean about the menus:

On reflection (although my editing of the lang file does solve my problem), it may be down to my Win98SE and IE5 setup?

IE5 PC - quite likely. Works fine on my IE5 Mac (in fact I tried it with Firebird, Mozilla, Netscape, Safari... all works).

Thanks, Guys, for pointing out the obvious... I really should think before I speak! Still, I guess it's a good tip for dinosaurs like me!
Keep up the great work.
