Hi. I have read through the other posts, and cant find anyone else asking the same question, So I guess I'll ask it.

Every page on my website, including the coppermine pages load perfectly, but the batch add files page just wont load. I havent changed any settings and cant work out what would be causing this. Can anyone shed any light on the situation?

Thanks in advance
Tan

What does "just won't load" mean? Empty page? Error message?

tristananderson

yes sorry that was a bit vague. When I click the batch add button, the page turns white, as if a new one is loading, but it just stays like this. The IE logo stays spinning in my browser as it usually does, but this page stays white and the logo keeps spinning.

OK, if simple isn't enough for you, then here's the "more advanced" answer that will lead to the same thing: no, you may not send me the link to your site in a PM, because the main reason for running a forum with public postings is for the benefit of others. We (the dev and supporter team) share a distributed approach: if one supporter is busy, another supporter may look into issues users bring up. If you send me a link to your site in a PM, another supporter can't take over. A link to a site is not a sensitive piece of information, that's why I can't see the reason to send it by PM at all, unless you have valid reasons, but then you should have posted your reasons.
If you're so easily fed up and you don't appreciate the fact that all supporters here do this on a free, unpaid base during their spare time and you don't respect their wish for privacy, then I'm not sorry at all to see you leave. If you're even a nasty person who needs to insult people without knowing them, then your leave is even welcome.
Godspeed.
